Welcome to ‘Little Rishikesh Revival,’ a harmonious community sanctuary of kindred spirits united in the pursuit of inner wisdom and boundless joy!

Our vibrant community is a tapestry of diverse spiritual explorers, drawn together by an array of heart-expanding practices encompassing kirtans, drum circles, meditation, and soul-nurturing gatherings and conversations. Inspired by the sacred spirit of Rishikesh, the revered Yoga Capital of India, we join together to bring about a renewed sense of profound self-discovery.

We’ve chosen the term ‘revival’ to encapsulate the essence of our current activities. Just as the changing seasons bring new life to the natural world, our ‘revival’ is a rekindling of our inner flame, a rediscovery of the profound connection that unites us and brings us home to our true selves.

Om Namah Shivaya

Kirtan allows us to enter into a mystery world

A world where all the logic of our mind, all the conditioning and learning are left outside. And in this mystery, we create a temple inside of our hearts, a place of refuge, a place of love, a place of just being.

Little Rishikesh Revival

Kirtan, the cornerstone of our offerings at ‘Little Rishikesh,’ is a profound and heart-centered practice of bhakti yoga that draws seekers from all walks of life. In the sacred tradition of call-and-response chanting, kirtan invites us to join our voices, our spirits, and our hearts as one.

Through the enchanting repetition of divine mantras and melodies, participants are transported to a realm of deep inner connection and bliss.  Boundaries dissolve and a sense of unity with the divine and fellow participants flourishes.   No prior experience is necessary.  There are no beginners and no experts.  There is simply the gathering of souls, united in voice and heart.

Meet Tom Fuhrmann, the heart and soul behind ‘Little Rishikesh Revival.’ Having embarked on numerous journeys to the spiritual epicenter of Rishikesh, India, Tom found himself captivated by the profound displays of devotion that saturate the very air of this sacred city.

Witnessing people’s open and heartfelt prayers to the divine, the omnipresence of temples, and the unwavering commitment to God left an indelible mark on his spirit. His own transformational odyssey was catalyzed in 2002-2004 when he attended a series of retreats with the luminaries Ram Dass and Krishna Das, igniting a passion for spiritual devotion that would shape his life’s purpose.

Drawing on his classical piano training, Tom skillfully intertwines the magic of kirtan and the rhythmic pulse of drumming into the tapestry of ‘Little Rishikesh Revival.’
